A child can perceive a concept thoroughly only with the combination of theoretical teaching in a classroom and hands on experience in a lab. Math needs practice, interest and brainpower which are fostered by the Math lab. Our Maths laboratory makes Math simple and fun for students. It is a unique room or place, with relevant and up-to-date equipment known as instructional materials, designated for the teaching and learning of mathematics through informal exploration. The Math lab provides an opportunity for the students to discover mathematics through doing. Many of the activities present a problem or a challenge, with the possibility of generating future challenges and problems. The activities help students to visualize, manipulate and reason. It is a space to explore and design new mathematical activities. and It helps to connect Maths with real-world and learn to apply concepts in everyday scenarios. It also helps to overcome Maths phobia and move from 'No Maths to More Maths' through activities.
Just a quick note to say a million thanks for the extraordinary effort everyone at NIS has put in to keep the children learning this term, not just for their intellectual and creative development but emotionally. Outside family, school is their main framework and the fact that you kept it functioning at all during a pandemic, but that you did so with such resourcefulness, care, flexibility and joy is mind boggling to me. It’s not just our NHS workers who are heroes, but our teachers!! Thank you for keeping our boys stimulated, inspired, and most importantly, happy during this tough tough time

NIS nursery is an extremely supportive environment where children can learn, explore, be creative and develop as individuals with confidence. When you go to pick the kids up it is clear that they are extremely focused in whatever activity they are doing. I think also it encourages curious minds, which is great
